On 15 January 2026 , international students from the Global Convergence Faculty (IT/AI) of Kwangju Women's University visited the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH), Gwangju , with the aim of enhancing their understanding of advanced technologies and exploring career pathways aligned with current technological trends.

During the visit, the students observed AI-based KUKA milling robots , AI autonomous vehicles , and special-purpose vehicles , gaining practical insights into how artificial intelligence and automation technologies are applied in real industrial and research environments. Throughout the program, the students participated with great interest and enthusiasm.  Following the visit to KITECH, the students also visited the Gwangju National Museum , where they explored the region's history and culture and enjoyed 4D and 3D visual exhibitions , spending a rewarding time that combined learning and hands-on experience.
