Majors and Aims of Education
The TESOL Major focuses on preparing students to become skilled English language educators in diverse global contexts. The program provides comprehensive training in language acquisition theories, teaching methodologies, curriculum design, and classroom management. Students develop practical teaching skills through micro-teaching sessions and field experiences. In addition, the program enhances students’ intercultural communication competence, enabling them to effectively teach learners from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Graduates can pursue careers as English teachers, language instructors, educational content developers, or pursue further studies in education and linguistics both domestically and internationally.
