Kwangju Women’s University, under the supervision of the Office of International Affairs, held the 2nd International Student Meeting to support international students’ successful adaptation to university life and to improve the overall educational environment.

The meeting was attended by nine international student representatives, the Vice President, department heads, and the Dean of the Global Convergence Division. Participants reviewed the progress made on issues and suggestions raised during the first meeting and discussed additional concerns and recommendations.

During the meeting, international students shared their opinions on various topics, including academics, campus life, career and employment support, Korean language education, and administrative services. University officials listened carefully to their feedback and reaffirmed their commitment to creating a more supportive and student-centered environment.

In particular, the Vice President emphasized the importance of maintaining regular communication with international students through periodic meetings. The Vice President also encouraged each academic department to hold regular meetings with international student representatives, allowing departments to better understand students’ needs and develop practical support measures at the departmental level.

Kwangju Women’s University will continue to strengthen communication with international students and expand support programs to foster a more inclusive and globally oriented educational environment.
